Dr. Amber Hays

Hello and a warm welcome! I’m thrilled to be joining the THRIVE team as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Postdoctoral Fellow. With almost fifteen years of experience in local districts, my passion is relating to, problem-solving with, and advocating for children with unique learning needs and their families.

Broadly, I am well-prepared to support youth of all ages with a wide range of academic, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges. In particular, I have expertise and a strong interest in early childhood development and autism spectrum disorders. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavior therapy, applied behavior analysis, and collaborative problem solving to meet each child and family where they are and help them get where they want to be.

When I am not working, I enjoy immersing myself in the world of literature, the magic of musical theater, and the joy of cooking. I also love spending quality time with my family and feline companions.

I look forward to partnering with you on your family’s journey toward growth, resiliency, and wellness. Together, I am confident that we will create a supportive and nurturing environment where your child can truly THRIVE.

Best Wishes,
