Dr. Kimberly Woodman

Hello and welcome! I look forward to coming alongside you and your family on your journey to THRIVE! As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (IL# 071.007507) and trained School Psychologist, I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care.

I believe that individuals are uniquely and wonderfully made, and my hope is that through exploring all aspects of their environment: including educational, emotional, behavioral, physical, cultural, and spiritual, that children and adolescents will be able to recognize their strengths, develop strategies to thrive, and continue growing into whom they were created to be. It is my sincere hope that all clients will feel seen and heard. I am passionate about partnering with families and schools to support, problem solve, advocate, and facilitate communication and healing. 

Throughout my training and career, I have practiced in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, specialty clinics, rural and urban schools, community outpatient centers, and private practice. I have also been privileged to teach for several years at the undergraduate and graduate university levels, present workshops, and co-author papers.

Aside from work, I love spending time with my family whether it is at church, sporting events, outdoors, playing music together, traveling, or playing games.  I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and serving on the Board of Directors for the BN Youth Symphony.
